(KNSI)—Stearns County will begin repaving three roads next week, including a busy corridor in St. Cloud and Sartell.
The most disruptive for drivers is CSAH 1. Stearns County rebuilt the roundabout at CSAH 120 last year, closing the road near Wal-Mart. The City of Sartell did a major reconstruction project just to the north on Riverside Drive. The area will again be subjected to a steady diet of orange barrels.
A mill and overlay is planned from CSAH 120 to 9th Avenue North, near the bridge to downtown Sauk Rapids. Local traffic, including several homes on the road and Heim Milling, will still have access, but drivers should expect significant delays.
The other roads affected are CSAH 40 between CSAH 41 and CSAH 9, and County Road 156 from Sand Lake Road to CSAH 9. CR 156 starts in Albany and follows I-94 east before breaking to the south. CSAH 40 runs east-west near the border between Albany Township and Farming Township
Central Specialties of Alexandria is completing the work between Monday, May 5th, and June 13th.
