(KNSI) – The Sartell-St. Stephen School District has picked its next principal for Riverview Intermediate School.

Brittney Schoephoerster will step up and into her new role on July 1st. Schoephoerster is a familiar face to students and staff, having served as the assistant principal at Riverview since it opened in 2020. Before her role in District 748, she was the assistant director at Athlos Academy in St. Cloud.

Schoephoerster holds a master’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica and an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the College of St. Benedict.

Superintendent Michael Rivard said the district is “proud to announce Brittney as the new principal of Riverview Intermediate School. As Riverview’s assistant principal since its opening, Brittney has helped shape the school’s strong culture, vision, and commitment to student success. Her proven leadership in instructional practices, community engagement, and student support makes her the ideal choice to lead Riverview forward.”

Schoephoerster added, “I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this incredible school community as Riverview Intermediate School’s next principal. It’s an honor to grow in the role alongside the students, staff, and families who make this place so special. I look forward to building on what we’ve started – together.”

She will take over for Principal Zachary Dingman, who was appointed as the superintendent of the Melrose School District earlier this year.
