(KNSI) – The Veterans Drive construction project that was postponed this week has a new expected start date.
The St. Cloud City Engineer’s Office now believes crews will begin utility work on Tuesday, the 29th. The road will be down to one lane in either direction from 25th Avenue North to 29th Avenue North.
On occasion, crews will switch and shut down the outer lanes, cutting off access to Veterans Drive from 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th Avenues. The notice warns drivers to be prepared for changes, and road signs will be posted.
The work should wrap up in late-May depending on weather.
