(KNSI) — A Milaca man is recovering after his pickup truck collided with a black bear in Benton County this morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol’s preliminary crash report, 45-year-old Douglas Cramlet was heading south on Highway 23 near milepost 227 in Maywood Township around 5:30 when he hit the bear. The impact was such that it caused the airbags in his Chevy Silverado to deploy.
Cramlet was taken to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital with unspecified injuries.
