(KNSI) – Three men are jailed after the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant Tuesday in Waite Park.
Officers went to the address on the 500 block of Division Street following an investigation into drugs and guns circulating around the area. Four people were found, and they took two of them into custody immediately, saying they were both found to be carrying firearms. The men, both 18 and from the Twin Cities, were not supposed to have guns due to prior convictions. A 19-year-old, also from the Twin Cities, had drugs in his possession. He was also arrested.
The three were booked into the Stearns County jail, where they are awaiting formal charges. A fourth person at the scene was identified and released.
