(KNSI) – A central Minnesota educator needs your support to be named the top in her class.
Angela Haus has advanced to the next round of the America’s Favorite Teacher competition and needs your vote to advance to the quarterfinals. So far, the Tech High School educator has made it through three rounds. Ms. Haus is competing against 100 teachers from around the nation. According to her biography, she’s been a high school science teacher for 26 years and loves being a “school mom” to students.
Only the top teacher in the bracket will advance. People can vote once a day for free or donate to place multiple votes. All voting is done through Facebook, but the link can be shared on any account. This round ends Thursday, April 3rd, at 9:00 p.m.
America’s Favorite Teacher wins $25,000, a feature in Reader’s Digest, a trip to Hawaii, and a school assembly with Bill Nye the Science Guy.
If Haus won, she says she would use it to help put her two kids through college and would also like to treat her students to a fun activity or field trip that relates to science.
