(KNSI) – Ten animal advocates will stay up late this weekend for a Slumber Pawty to raise funds for the Tri-County Humane Society.
The St. Cloud-based facility will be the first in the state to participate in the nationwide event on Saturday, April 5th. From 6:30 p.m. to midnight, volunteers and their pets will be clad in pajamas, enjoy some treats, play games, and share stories about homeless animals and how people can help them.
The event isn’t open to the public; however, joining in at home is encouraged. People can follow along through social media via the TCHS’s Facebook page and Instagram account. The shelter hopes to raise $30,000.
