(KNSI) – Next week is your last chance to party and support a good cause in St. Cloud with a simple donation.

Jules’ Bistro Owner Donella Westphal told KNSI they’ve done four Lift Up the Ladies social hours this month, and the final gathering is usually the biggest celebration. “We roll out heavy appetizers. We’re going to be doing some sampling of shilling ciders. And all you have to do is bring a pajama set or a loungewear set, and you get to enjoy all of that for free, in addition to great company and great conversation.” The event is on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The fundraiser supports Anna Marie’s Alliance Women’s Domestic Violence Shelter. She says the women at the shelter come with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and having something comfortable to change into will help them adjust. Only new clothing will be accepted.

Westphal believes the facility plays a pivotal role in the community, and local businesses should, too. “I didn’t buy Jules’ because I dreamed of owning a restaurant. I bought Jules’ because, to me, they represent community, and I think as a business, it’s our responsibility and our privilege to be a good citizen in our community and to make a difference in the world that we live in.”

Over the last few years, the restaurant collected new bras but, due to several years of generosity, had a large enough surplus, so the event pivoted to gathering PJs.
