(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a burglar.
A press release says an incident happened at an apartment building on the 300 block of 14th Avenue Southeast just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday. A woman woke up to an unknown man rummaging through her apartment. She let out a scream, and he fled.
The suspect is described as a black man, about six feet tall, and with a muscular build. He is believed to have shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing a black coat.
Officials say he was able to gain access to the apartment unarmed and without using force. The investigation is ongoing.
Those with information can call the SCPD at 320-251-1200 and ask for Lieutenant Justin Day. Another option is to remain anonymous by using the Tri-County Crime Stopper hotline at 800-255-1301.
