(KNSI) – There are signs that the Great River Children’s Museum is nearing an opening date.
An annual membership pre-sale is underway. One of the perks is having first access to check out top-flight exhibits like Climber to the Clouds, which teaches children about weather and the atmosphere. Some of the other highlights of the new museum will include the Great Big River, a reflection of the importance of water in different cultures, and Headwaters, a recreation of the Great Outdoors without the long car ride.
The passes are good well beyond the museum’s Grand Opening. A membership allows unlimited admission for a full year using a timed-entry ticketing system. Memberships start at $150 for two people and increase by $50 for every additional person.
The museum hasn’t set an official opening date, simply promising a time in “late spring” for now. It is located at the site of the former Liberty Bank Building on 7th Avenue South in downtown St. Cloud.
