(KNSI) – The third annual Downtown Bloody Mary Crawl will pack St. Cloud bars and restaurants on Sunday.

The inaugural event ended early because of the sheer number of customers. Organizers say that will not be repeated in 2025, as there are 16 different venues taking part, including three retail shops.

St. Cloud Downtown Alliance Director Rachel Lolmasteymaugh says the options are nearly limitless. “We have so many different bars and restaurants. They all have their own thing. They all have their own feel and taste and flavor.”

When Lolmasteymaugh was asked what makes the bloody mary a customer favorite, she pointed to its versatility. Unlike other drinks, the answer is different for everyone. “I think it’s fun for brunch. It’s something different. And you’ve got the people who love the cheeses and the beef sticks and the celery sticks that go into it. Who knows why you love the bloody mary, you just do, and that’s why you come out for a brunch and a bloody.”

The first 50 people at each location have the option of upgrading to a special, scrumptious skewer at a low price to make the experience even more memorable.

Pick up a passport at each, get it stamped as you move from venue to venue, and there’s a chance to win a special prize basket.
