(KNSI) – The annual Central Minnesota Home Builder’s Tour of Homes magazine is out, just ahead of the springtime tradition.

The 53rd annual event takes people through 13 homes made by ten local companies across Avon, Richmond, Sartell, St. Joseph, St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids. It’s available for free at area Coborn’s grocery stores and Little Dukes gas stations. There is also an app that can be downloaded.

CMBA Executive Director Wanda Schroeder tells KNSI News, “It’s a great opportunity for consumers to come meet with builders talk about building their next home, or if they want to come and check out the homes to see what’s new as well as just to walk through the homes and get some ideas. Anybody can get something out of it. It’s a place that you can go just to check out what’s happening. Check out the flooring, check out the cabinets, what’s happening with garages, garage doors. I mean, there’s so many elements within a home that you have the opportunity to check out live and in person.”

The homes on the tour are valued anywhere from $350,000 to up to a million dollars. The tours take place Friday through Sunday.
