(KNSI) – Four teens are under arrest after a high school student was found shot to death inside his car earlier this month.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, police arrested two 17-year-olds, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old on Wednesday. It was a collaborative effort between Ramsey Police and Fire, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Coon Rapids Police Department, Anoka County SWAT and the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. All four suspects are boys, and all of them are believed to be related to the homicide. Officials say the group has not been formally charged.
The body of 18-year-old Diamond Manly, a senior at Champlin Park High School, was found after someone called 911 to report a driver slumped over in his car the morning of March 2nd outside a home in Ramsey. Inside, they found Manly dead of a gunshot wound.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
