(KNSI) – St. Cloud construction crews will close the northbound lanes of 10th Avenue North between 1st and 2nd Streets for a private utility repair later this week.
The project is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, with a detour posted. The next day, one of the two north lanes will reopen. Traffic won’t be back to normal on the stretch until Friday, February 28th, when the roadway has been completely restored.
Southbound traffic will not be affected. Fire Station 1 is located on that side of the road. From nearby 9th Avenue North, access to St. Cloud Financial Credit Union and the United Way of Central Minnesota is available.
The timeline for the project is weather-dependent.
