(KNSI) – There will be sugar on the elephant ears and sugar on the concert stage at this year’s state fair.
Organizers for the Great Minnesota Get-Together announced Tuesday that Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard will put on a sticky sweet show August 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the grandstand. The group owns two of the best-selling albums of all time in “Pyromania” and “Hysteria.”
See the legendary guitar work of Phil Collen, Rick Savage, and Vivian Campbell in person while helping lead singer Joe Elliott belt out iconic songs like “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” and “Photograph.” The show will pull from a catalog that now includes 13 different albums spread out over five decades.
Tickets go on sale via ETix on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Reserved seats run between $77 and $292. The Party Deck will set concertgoers back over $150. A link to purchase them is here.
Def Leppard is the third act announced for the 2025 fair and the first classic rock group.
