(KNSI) – Entrepreneurs have about a month to get their applications in for the FastLane94 Trailblazer Challenge.

March 6th is the cutoff to enter, and a public event will crown the winner on April 3rd. The competition is sponsored by the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, ILT Studios, and Launch Minnesota Fastlane 94. To be eligible, entrants must live in west central Minnesota along the I-94 corridor and have a business idea they’re ready to get off the ground or be newly incorporated, having been open for under a year.

The contest has three parts, including a panel discussion where established business leaders give advice on how to launch and scale up a company. There will also be a social hour allowing for networking, and the event wraps up with pitches to an expert panel from five finalists. It all takes place at Bad Habit Brewery in St. Joseph.

The top prize includes $5,000 in cash and automatic entry into the 2025 MN Cup, which is hosted by the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
