(KNSI) – Minnesota-based Vehicles For Veterans recently showed it has the six of a national organization that supports younger veterans.

Earlier this month, a $424,000 donation was made to ‘Hope For The Warriors,’ which focuses on post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their extended families. The relationship dates back to 2018. In the past seven years, Vehicles For Veterans has reinforced HOPE to the tune of $2.4 million.

Executive Director Loren Dorshow says, “By funding nonprofits like Hope For The Warriors, we are able to contribute to the stability, strength, and community that these brave individuals and their loved ones need to thrive. Every donated vehicle becomes a catalyst for change, helping to provide critical resources, from financial and career assistance to mental health support. We are deeply proud of the impact this program has had.”

The donations go toward programs that provide financial literacy and career advice, physical and mental health, and build a social support network to connect veterans when they return home.
