(KNSI) – Clara’s House will hold a dedication for its new expanded facility on January 27th.
The open house times up with the 20th anniversary of the youth psychiatric building. Clara’s House serves children and adolescents dealing with behavioral and emotional issues. It was recently expanded by 5,785 square feet to add service for three to five-year-olds.
It is the first early childhood partial hospitalization program in the Midwest. The expansion was funded by the CentraCare Foundation and private donations.
Staff will escort guests through the new addition, teach people about the programs offered at Clara’s House, and educate them about the services’ impact and how they better the community.
The event runs from 4:00 to 6:30. It is free and open to all.
