(KNSI) – Calling all caped crusaders! Tickets are on sale now for the sixth annual Mom Son Superhero Party on February 1st.

The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sartell Community Center.

Leighton Media Promotions Director Brendan Potter tells KNSI News what makes this type of play date different. “We don’t usually get to have a lot of events that are centered around moms and sons. There’s a lot of events that we have that are centered around just kids, but this one’s made for not just the sons, is also made for the moms as well. So it’s a great event.”

Potter says even if someone has attended before, it’s a memory worth making before the little man grows up. “Every year is a different experience, because we have different heroes and different events. It’s also one of those events that I would say is timeless. You could always go to it every year, and it feels like it’s brand new, and it feels just like a fun get together for families to go to and be a part of.”

Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero.

Along with surprise superhero guests, the party features a balloon twister, bounce houses, a photo booth, make-it-and-take-it crafts, an indoor play area, prizes and pizza.

Tickets sell out every year. Get yours before they fly off into the sunset by clicking here.
