Sartell PD Hosting Recruitment Townhall for Local Students

(KNSI) – The Sartell Police Department is looking to encourage high school students to consider a career in law enforcement.

Chief Brandon Silgjord will host an Ask and Answer town hall on Thursday, January 16th, at 6:00 p.m. inside the Sartell Public Safety building. He will speak to students and their family members, giving insight into what a career in law enforcement looks like. The department is promising to address topics like daily responsibilities, training and licensing, and the challenges and rewards that come with the job.

Attendees will also get to meet K9 Officer Echo. Anyone who plans on coming must RSVP by calling 320-251-8186 or emailing amber.molitor@sartellmn.com.
