(KNSI) – The Paramount Center for the Arts is going to the adventurers, the gypsies, the thieves, and the revolutionaries in February.
Four concerts kick off on the 15th with the Okee Dokee Brothers. A family act, they sing about the Great Outdoors and finding happiness away from a screen. They use their childhood in Colorado as inspiration to encourage children ages three to eight to approach life as daring explorers.
Lisa McClowry will send up a tribute to Cher on February 21st. Her ‘The Beat Goes On’ show is a love letter to the only artist to have achieved a number-one Billboard single in six different decades. Cher’s known as a trailblazer, starring in movies and television in addition to her recording career. McClowry hopes to channel that into a memorable performance.
The Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota is looking to melt faces during its ‘Big Bang’ concert on Sunday, February 23rd. The show hopes to mix choral harmonies with the grit and liveliness of rock n’ roll.
Get a pick-me-up from your best buds. Tribute band The Revolution 5 presents ‘With a Little Help From Our Friends.’ The show features the best of the Beatles. Brass, drums, and string instruments will help revive Beatlemania in St. Cloud.
