Country Lights Festival Ends With Fireworks in Sartell

(KNSI) – Sartell will send 2024 out with a bang on Tuesday night.

The annual fireworks display, which culminates the monthlong Country Lights Festival, is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Each year, the display is set up at Lake Francis.

The lights will remain on until dawn. This year’s Country Lights Festival began on November 27th, the day before Thanksgiving. Special events were scheduled each Friday and Saturday night throughout December, including a visit from Santa, hot chocolate, movie night and more.

The display is added to each year. Now in its eighth year, the exact number of lights is unknown, but it’s believed to be between 500,000 and one million bulbs. Admission is free.
