Man Arrested After Crashing Suspected Stolen Motorcycle in Morrison County

(KNSI) – A suspected motorcycle thief is arrested after crashing the ride in Morrison County early Sunday.

The accident happened at 1:12 a.m. about five miles north of Little Falls. The driver was 28-year-old Christian Ramiro of St. Cloud. He suffered only minor injuries after he was thrown into a ditch. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the bike had been reported stolen from St. Cloud, and the Rice Police Department had tried to make an arrest earlier in the night. Ramiro was able to evade officers in a high-speed pursuit.

Ramiro has since been turned over to the Rice Police Department and booked into the Stearns County Jail. The Minnesota State Patrol and Mayo Clinic Ambulance helped at the scene of the crash.
