(KNSI) – Mayor Dave Kleis will deliver his 20th, and last, State of the City address in early January.
St. Cloud Rotary and the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce will host the event at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7th at city hall. It is free to the public and the community is encouraged to attend.
Kleis was first elected in November 2005. He would go on to be relected in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020. In a majority of those elections, he ran unopposed. Before he was mayor, Kleis served in the Minnesota State Senate for 11 years.
Kleis is also a driving instructor and has long had roots in the city. He is originally from Litchfield.
