(KNSI) – Three central Minnesota businesses have won state grants to help with an expansion of their facilities.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development awards total $10.5 million and include seven companies statewide. In addition to the public money, there will be another $86 million in other investments to facilitate the build-outs at places like Monumental Sales of St. Cloud, St. Cloud Window in Sauk Rapids, and Two Rivers Enterprises of Holdingford.

The money comes from either the Job Creation Fund (JCF) or the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF). Monumental Sales is consolidating their locations and upgrading both manufacturing and office space. The project is receiving $175,000 from the JCF. Monumental Sales specializes in granite memorials.

St. Cloud Window was awarded a combined $325,000 from the JCF and MIF for a renovation of its facility and the purchase of new equipment. In addition to windows, the company are experts in aluminum storefronts, doors, and curtainwalls for commercial and industrial buildings.

Two Rivers Enterprises is adding over 10,000 square feet of production space and upgrading its equipment. The company designs and fabricates stainless steel products used in everything from food processing to the medical industry. The business is getting a combined $320,000 from the JCF and MIF.

In total, the three projects cost a total of $14.8 million and will help add 35 jobs for the area.
