Crime Stoppers Ask for Help to Solve Four-Year-Old Murder Case

(KNSI) – Tri-County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a murder inside a St. Cloud apartment building that happened four years ago this week.

At about 11:30 a.m. December 16th, 2020, someone called 911 to report the sound of gunshots inside an apartment building on the 4000 block of 24th Street South. Officers arrived to find Marenio William Kennedy was injured and attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but he was pronounced dead. Kennedy, who lived in Waite Park, was only 21.

Police do not believe the murder was random and said at the time that there was no threat to the public. No one has ever been arrested.
