St. Cloud Muncipal Band Nearing End of 2024 Schedule With Annual Holiday Concert

(KNSI) – The annual St. Cloud Municipal Band holiday concert is this Thursday, benefitting the Whitney Rec Center.

Listen to Christmas classics with the occasional musical twist. Typically, there is a sing-a-long segment for the audience to get involved as well. A social hour kicks off at 6:15 p.m. with the first tune performed at 7:00. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies are being provided by UCare.

The concert itself is free, but donations are encouraged. All proceeds will go to replacing tables at the Whitney Center.

The St. Cloud Municipal Band dates back to the mid-1880’s and has been featured at the Minnesota State Fair, among other prestigious venues here and abroad. The annual calendar typically features 25 to 30 performances.
