(KNSI) — A program helping men struggling with some of life’s challenges as they return to society needs help keeping a holiday tradition alive.
For the last 29 years, St. Cloud’s Overcomers International Fellowship Dream Center has served Christmas dinners to homeless veterans, those dealing with drug addiction and other mental health issues, and to men recently released from prison. Founder Pastor Michael Laidlaw says the Dream Center is one of the few facilities helping these men as they reenter the real world. Donations for the dinner are needed and hats, gloves, coats and hygiene products for the 46 men at the facility would also be welcomed.
The dinner will be served at noon on Christmas Day at the center at 529 16th Avenue North.
