(KNSI) – The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for the public’s help finding the cause of a double fatal crash in central Minnesota.

The crash was on Interstate 4 East at mile marker 145 in Albany Township. It happened on Saturday, November 30th, around 2:40 p.m. The state patrol accident report stated a Toyota Prius rear-ended a box truck. Investigators are looking for people who may have witnessed unusual driving around that time and place.

The collision killed the driver of the Prius, 42-year-old Sarah Thorine Jones and her passenger, 15-year-old Kale Teklah Olson, both of Minneapolis. According to the accident report, neither was wearing a seat belt.
