(KNSI) – From the highs of outer space travel to the lows of prison, it’s all covered in January at the Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud.

The North Crest Dance Company will ‘Reach for the Stars’ in a performance that really shines. The show runs for over two hours. The ballet is set to interstellar music that will have patrons feeling over the moon.

Next up is a show that has quickly become an early-year tradition in St. Cloud. The Folsom Prison Experience is back with three shows on Thursday, January 16th, and Friday, the 17th. It gives the audience an immersive experience recreating Johnny Cash’s famous concert at the California prison.

Michael Shynes is also providing a show filled with extras. Backed by a seven-piece band, the Minnesota native incorporates lights and videos to create something more than just music.

January ends at the Paramount with another GREAT Theatre play. The magic of Elvis Presley fuels the jukebox musical ‘All Shook Up.’ Using a plot from Shakespeare, the story focuses on a young, charismatic singer who infuses love and energy into a small town. The show includes 25 chart-topping hits from the King. ‘All Shook Up’ runs from January 31st to February 9th.
