(KNSI) — Residents who still need to finish the last of the yard work before the flakes fly can drop off grass clippings, leaves, brush and tree waste until Saturday, November 23rd.

That day, the City of St. Cloud’s compost site will close for the season. A permit is required to use it. The site is located in the St. Cloud River Bluffs Regional Park area east of County Road 75, off of 33rd Street South.

For those who can’t get to the compost site, there’s always curbside yard waste collection. The trucks will come around one more time on Monday, November 25th. Garbage and recycling customers are required to use specially marked city bags for yard waste. The bags are clear and compostable with the city logo imprinted on them. No other bags will be picked up.
