Local Red Kettle Campaign Kicks off November 8th

(KNSI) – Soon, the bells will start for the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.

The official kickoff event is Friday, November 8th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in front of the Coborn’s location in Sauk Rapids. Organizers will be there handing out cookies, coffee and hot cocoa. To get folks in the Christmas mood, Christmas music will be playing.

All of the money raised in central Minnesota stays in central Minnesota to help local families in need.

People can donate with cash, coins, or digitally with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo at any Red Kettle.

They also need people to help ring those bells. Register here.
