Metro Bus to Offer Free Rides to the Polls for Voters November 5th

(KNSI) — As Edgar Winter once sang, “Come on and take a free ride,” Metro Bus has announced that anyone headed to cast a vote on Tuesday, November 5th, can do just that.

The offer applies to Fixed Route, Northstar Link and Dial-a-Ride customers. They ask riders to let the bus operator or dispatcher know before departing the station.

Metro Bus also renews its annual salute to veterans on Monday, November 11th. All vets and active military members can take advantage of complimentary rides that day. They will need a military ID to do so.

Metro Bus says the holiday is important for the company. Veterans make up a large percentage of the riders and are well-represented on its staff.
