Search for Jodi Huisentruit Leads Iowa Investigators to Winstead Construction Site

(KNSI) — Investigators from Iowa were recently in Minnesota, acting on a tip in the 30 year old missing person case of Jodi Huisentruit.

Police from Des Moines were on a construction site near Winstead searching for clues they hope will lead to more information about her disappearance. Authorities did not say what they were looking for or what—if anything—they found.

Huisentruit was a native of Long Prairie and a graduate of St. Cloud State University. She was abducted on her way to work at KIMT-TV in Mason City in June of 1995 and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

No one has ever been arrested.
