(KNSI) – St. Cloud City Council will not be having a work session on November 4th.

With Veterans Day falling on the following Monday, the next meeting is expected to be November 18th. The current council will remain on the job until January, but in 2025, it will look dramatically different.

Two members are in a general election battle to become the next mayor, and another councilor has announced her upcoming retirement after failing to advance out of the mayoral primary in August. Six candidates are looking to fill the three vacant at-large seats.

One of the main issues that the current group will consider is a restriction on where Level III predatory offenders may live. A public hearing on the topic is scheduled for 11/18.

The Council also has meetings slated for December 2nd and 16th. That is typically when the next year’s budget is finalized.
