(KNSI) – The Minnesota State Patrol has identified a motorcyclist killed in an accident Sunday night.
According to the crash report, around 10:45, troopers responded to a 911 call on Highway 10 outside of Royalton after 27-year-old Hunter Raymond Meister of Sauk Rapids rear ended an Ice Castle fish house being towed. Meister was thrown off his bike and hit a pillar in the median. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people were in the pickup truck towing the fish house. Neither of them was hurt. A Chevy Cobalt ran over Meister’s motorcycle, which had been lying in the roadway. The driver of that car was also not hurt.
Meister was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
