(KNSI)—Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota’s vice president of operations recently received a national award from the nonprofit organization.
Geri Bechtold was recognized with the Tom Burt Pacesetter Award, which is presented to a non-CEO leader who contributes to personal growth and inspires coworkers and children enrolled in the program. Bechtold is a programming consultant at clubs across the region and country.
President and CEO Mary Swingle says she is even more important locally. “Geri is a genuine and exemplary servant leader. She is the foundation upon which our Club programs are built. She approaches each day, person, and situation with our mission at the forefront, dedicated to empowering everyone to reach their full potential.”
The award was presented at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America Midwest Leadership Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
