(KNSI) – It may not yet be snowing in the pines by November 4th, but the Paramount will be celebrating a country Christmas to kick off the holiday season.
The Ozark Jubilee will transport you to Branson, Missouri, during a matinee at 1:30 p.m. and an evening set starting at 7:00. In between the southern-soaked noels, there will be a salute to veterans.
Christmas continues to dominate on December 9th with the Vienna Boys Choir. They’ll sing Austrian folk songs, classical masterpieces, holiday hymns, and carols.
Some groups aren’t ready to let go of the fall season. On November 11th at 7:00 p.m., the St. Cloud Municipal Band pays homage to the autumn wind. They’re promising a variety of tunes, from traditional to modern, that will have your head filled with melodies.
There’s one last concert planned for November. John Berry, who got to the top of the Billboard country charts with “She’s Taken a Shine” and a host of other hits such as “Your Love Amazes Me” and “Standing on the Edge of Goodbye,” will be on the Paramount stage Thursday, November 14th.
On the 16th, the Paramount goes to the dogs. Da da duh dut da duh, get ready for some puppy power! The Puppy Pals Comedic Stunt Dog Show is fun for the family. It features a cast of animal performers who were all rescued from a shelter. If you attend, just be ready to take part. There are lots of interactive elements in the production.
November ends with the Great and Powerful Oz sweeping through. GREAT Theatre presents the classic novel and movie as a stage production. Flying monkeys, wicked witches, ruby slippers, and the Yellow Brick Road will all make an appearance in “The Wizard of Oz.” It runs from November 22nd through December 8th.
