(KNSI) — St. Cloud Technical and Community College is hosting an epic day for students next week.

The Exploring Potential Interests and Careers Day is aimed at being an engaging career exploration event for high school students and more than 125 employers across central Minnesota. Organizers say they want to connect with educators and industry professionals, offering hands-on, interactive experiences that provide insight into various career paths. They do that by offering engaging activities to simulate real world professions and experiences so students can learn what it will take for education requirements and explore job market outlooks.

EPIC Day is coming up on Friday, October 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature 16 career clusters, including Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources; Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications; Information Technology; Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics; Architecture and Construction; Manufacturing and STEM; Health Science; Human Services; Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security; Government and Public Administration; Education and Training; Marketing and Sales; Business, Management, and Administration; Finance; Hospitality and Tourism; and, for the first time, a Retail cluster.

For more information about EPIC Student Day or the initiative, please contact EPIC Coordinator Emily Davis at edavis@greaterstcloud.com or 320-252-5203.
