(KNSI) – A popular brewery is looking for new digs after their building was bought.

St. Cloud Christian School bought the Crafts Direct building earlier this month. Back Shed Brewing was leasing space there. In a Facebook post, Back Shed says their landlord had hoped to keep their portion of the building, but no offers were received to allow them to stay long-term. A temporary lease of up to six months is in place, which buys them some time to figure out the next steps, but “much is still uncertain.”

The owners say they are “actively exploring options for the future,” which could include relocating, selling the business, or “as a last resort, closing permanently,” but they say they are doing everything they can to find a path forward.

Sources tell KNSI News that the school hopes to finalize plans within the next few weeks to start renovations.

KNSI News has contacted the school for comment. Our phone calls and emails have not been returned.
