Rice Teenager Killed In Accident At St. Augusta Harvest of Horror Haunted Hayride

(KNSI) – A 13-year-old boy died Saturday night after being run over by a trolley wagon at the Harvest of Horror Haunted Hayride in St. Augusta.

The wagon was attached to a tractor where the operator was seated. The accident happened just after 7:30 p.m. An off-duty police officer and an off-duty medic began life-saving efforts immediately as they happened to be at the event. A Stearns County Sheriff’s Deputy and members of the Explorer program were also in attendance and responded quickly.

They were relieved by first responders with the St. Augusta Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance EMTs. The efforts were unsuccessful, and Alexander Mick of Rice was declared dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
