(KNSI) – Work on the $43.7 million Highway 10/Highway 23 Interchange project is in the homestretch with less than a month to go.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says as the work wraps, motorists will continue to encounter changes as they navigate the work zone daily. Crews recently opened the new outside westbound lane of Highway 10, but traffic lanes will be switched as needed as they try to finish the frontage roads and side streets. Work is still ongoing on area sidewalks, trail connections, and the 4th Street Bridge over Highway 10.

The new interchange is set to open by November 3rd, weather permitting.
