(KNSI) — The issue that caused minor chaos in morning transportation for St. Cloud Area School District students appears to have been solved.

Superintendent Dr. Laurie Putnam shared with KNSI News that Palmer Bus Company will run end of day bus routes as scheduled and on time. Previously, parents were told students impacted by the morning bus delays wouldn’t be picked up until 4:00. Palmer has now confirmed that students will return home on their regular schedule and bus route.

Palmer is confident that all routes will run as planned on time tomorrow.

Dr. Putnam thanked internal district administrators, building principals, and clerical teams who helped manage this crisis, adding she is “grateful for the amazing support and calm, clear response from this team.”

An internal problem with Palmer prevented drivers from being available for most morning routes. Sixteen elementary routes and 14 secondary routes were affected.
