(KNSI) — A Minnesota-based frozen food delivery company announced it will cease operations in November and permanently park its brightly colored fleet of delivery trucks.

Founded in 1952, Yelloh, formerly known as Schwan’s, became a household name for its convenient doorstep deliveries. A company press release says despite the current team’s efforts to navigate challenges like staffing shortages and supply chain disruptions, the company’s business model has become increasingly difficult to sustain in today’s competitive market. The company cited multiple insurmountable business challenges for the decision, including economic and market forces and changing consumer lifestyles.

The company has about 1,100 employees who deliver products to customers via direct shipping and its yellow trucks. Around 200 jobs in Minnesota will be lost.

Yelloh will wind down operations over the next two months. The last day for customer purchases will be Friday, November 8th.
