(KNSI) — Absentee voting for the November general election opens Friday, September 20th, and Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer Randy Schreifels outlines the various ways to do it.

The first is in person absentee voting. That can be done in two places:

St. Cloud

Voting is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, October 26th and November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Stearns County Service Center Election Office
3301 County Road 138
Waite Park

Voting is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, October 26th, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Absentee voting can also be done by mail.

Voters can request an absentee ballot online by clicking here, by contacting the Auditor-Treasurer’s office at 320-656-3920, or by emailing elections@co.stearns.mn.us to have an application mailed to them.

Once received, the ballot will include instructions on how to complete and return it to the Stearns County election office. Ballots can be returned by mail or placed in a secure drop box.
