(KNSI) – One month out from Parktober Fest, St. Cloud officials are calling for volunteers.

Previously known as Fall Fest, the event is scheduled for MEA weekend on Friday, October 18th, at Riverside Park. Members of the St. Cloud Park and Recreation Department say they need help setting up, during the event itself, and tearing down afterward. You can sign up to volunteer here.

Attendees should come dressed up in their Halloween best. Some of the spooky activities scheduled include a pumpkin patch. You can paint what you pick afterward. Ghouls and goblins will have a chance to trick-or-treat and play carnival games.

For the more fall-inclined, take a hayride, play in the bounce house, check out the petting zoo, and make scarecrow or goofy pumpkin crafts. KNSI sister station Wild Country 99 will be providing the music.
