(KNSI) – The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation and The Culinary Studio are turning up the heat in the city’s east end.

The cooking classroom is scheduled to start in October at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. A permanent location is still being built inside the 539 Building, also known as Harvester Square.

Co-owners Michelle Massman and Mary Levinski will use the kitchen for a bakery on the side. They’ll release three scone flavors per month, available for pre-order.

Massman and Levinski recently utilized the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation’s Thrive MN program to get individualized entrepreneurship advice. Executive Director NeTia Bauman says, “Through our customized growth strategy coaching program, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Michelle and Mary from concept to launch. Their success not only highlights the power of entrepreneurship but also serves as a catalyst for the continued
revitalization of East End Downtown St. Cloud. This new addition brings fresh energy, creativity, and opportunity to a district that’s rapidly becoming a vibrant hub of local businesses.”
