(KNSI) – Music lovers and community members can rejoice as Celebrate MN is bringing back a night of music and togetherness on Sunday.

Following last year’s smash success at Whitney Park, this year’s Celebrate MN will be held at the Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park.

Headlining is Grammy-nominated Texas-based singer-songwriter Crowder. He is known for his unique yet seamless blending of genres to spread a message of hope. He fronted the David Crowder Band from 1996 to 2012 when he struck out on his own. His first solo single, “I Am,” was a top-ten hit, reaching number three on the Billboard Christian chart. He has four solo albums out now. His newest, The Exile, drops May 31st.

Acclaimed Christian artist Jeremy Camp is coming along for the ride. He has amassed quite a following, and numerous chart-topping hits in his almost 25-year career. He has landed 32 number ones on Christian radio and other formats. Camp is recovering from heart surgery he underwent in March to treat atrial fibrillation and expects to be fully recovered and ready to tour.

Also on the bill is Grammy-winning rapper Lecrae.

More special guests and surprises are in store throughout the evening.

“We’re looking forward to seeing our community come together once again for an unforgettable experience,” said Dawn Zimmerman, president of the Celebrate MN Board and chair of the 2024 Steering Committee leading the organization’s activities this year.

Celebrate MN hosted a two-day festival at Whitney Park last August, featuring a variety of musical performers and entertainment for all ages. It brought together about 40,000 people for fun, connection and a message of hope. “We continue to hear stories about how the August event made an impact in our community,” Zimmerman said, “and people keep asking about our plans for 2024, so we’re excited to be able to share them today.”

Celebrate MN is more than just a concert. It aims to be an uplifting, community-uniting event that supports local youth initiatives.
