(KNSI) – A teenager is among two people who were hurt in a crash on Highway 23 on Tuesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol crash report, just before 7:30, a Ford Focus driven by a 32-year-old woman from Foley was heading west on 23 and made a left turn at 31st Avenue Northeast in Sauk Rapids. While turning, her vehicle collided with an eastbound Dodge Ram pickup truck. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup was a 15-year-old boy from St. Cloud. His mother was in the truck with him, and he had a learner’s permit. A 14-year-old passenger with them also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The state patrol didn’t say anything about the mother being present in their original accident report.

The collision led to Highway 23 being temporarily shut down.
