(KNSI) — A Sauk Centre man is dead, and a woman was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash near Little Falls Sunday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol’s crash report, at about 2:30, 69-year-old David Searcy was driving east on Highway 10 near 215th Street when he made a lane change. The back tire of the Harley Davidson hit the front bumper of a Ford Bronco, throwing Searcy and his passenger, Ruth Ann Searcy, also 69, from the bike.

He was rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. She was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Both of them were wearing helmets at the time.

The Bronco was being driven by a 17-year-old boy who did not require hospitalization.
